Ali comes from a well-rounded background featuring a balanced blend of tech
and digital marketing.
In his 6 years at Google, he led teams looking after Turkey and Southeast Asia’s travel industry advertisers respectively. Before that, he spent nearly 8 years at IBM.
For the past 10 years, Ali has been managing SEM, one of the largest digital
marketing agencies in Turkey, a two-time EMEA Google Premier Partner Awards winner, which is currently in the process of evolving into a Consumer Tech company.
After SEM’s acquisition and relaunch as Opportune by DxBV, a Netherlands-based company owned by Sabancı Holding, Ali continues his role as the Co-CEO of the new brand.
