As Unilever’s Chief Data Officer, Andy leads global teams delivering data, advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities to the business, driving smarter and faster decision making. Named the most influential person in data, by Data IQ in 2022, Andy has over 25 years of experience with data and advanced analytics in the package goods, manufactures and retailers’ space.

Since joining Unilever in September 2017 from Dunnhumby, Andy has become a Global leader in Customer Data Science. He has set a new strategy and direction for the Data and Analytics team, driving significant transformational change in how Unilever extracts maximum value, through developing and scaling advanced, predictive and prescriptive analytics products, powered by Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning, NLP, RPA etc).

Andy is driving D&A’s belief that Data with Purpose Delivers by powering sustainable business growth through the intelligent application of trusted data, enterprise-wide.

Andy lives near London and enjoys spending time with his family, he is an avid Manchester City football fan, a keen runner, and enjoys playing tennis in his free time.
