Ayşegül graduated from Bilkent University with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She obtained her master's degree in Business from Harvard University. Ayşegül began her consulting career at PwC as an Analyst / Associate Consultant, and subsequently worked at global consulting firms such as IMS Consulting Group / IQVIA and Accenture, progressing through the roles of Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Manager. In 2018, Ayşegül joined the KPMG family as a Manager and currently serves as the Director of Strategy and Operations at KPMG Turkey. Within the KPMG Turkey Strategy and Operations team, Ayşegül leads customer-focused strategies, strategic sales and marketing practices, branding, innovation, and sectoral future strategy consultancy services as part of the Global Strategy Group and Global Customer Strategy Community. She is also the EMA region contact for KPMG's customer experience management platforms, Discovery and Medallia. Ayşegül has extensive expertise in corporate growth strategy derived from financial and customer analyses, commercial situation assessment, post-merger/divestiture operating model design, sales and marketing, customer experience, brand strategy and communication, operational excellence, and value chain resilience. With nearly 15 years of intensive consulting experience in various sectors (financial services, telecommunications, energy, retail, fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, automotive, etc.) across different geographies (Turkey, Europe, Middle East, America), she has led field teams in over 300 projects. Throughout her professional career, Ayşegül has provided leadership to selected clients' marketing, brand communication, strategic planning, and business development teams. She has also served as an independent board member for certain clients' Boards of Directors. Ayşegül is an active official member of various non-governmental organizations in Turkey, including TÜSİAD, YASED, AmCham, TKYD, ODD, and OSD.
