After completing his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Bogazici University, he pursued an MBA degree at San Francisco University in Silicon Valley. He returned to Turkey to bring the "yemeksepeti.com" project to life.

Yemeksepeti was acquired by global industry leader Delivery Hero in May 2015 in one of the largest valuations in Turkish internet history. Thanks to his contributions to entrepreneurship in Turkey, Nevzat Aydin was invited to the Entrepreneurship Summit hosted by then-U.S. President Barack Obama in 2010, where he was among 150 entrepreneurs worldwide. Furthermore, he was ranked first on the "40 Under 40" list by Fortune Turkey Magazine in 2013 and 2015. In 2017, he received the Philanthropy Award at the American Turkish Society Gala. In 2018, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Forbes Magazine, he was included in the list of "Turkey's Living Greatest Minds." Aydin has been repeatedly recognized with the Best Investor Award by pioneering organizations like Webrazzi. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for GEN (Global Entrepreneurship Network) Turkey and is a Board Member of Endeavor, TOBB Young Entrepreneurs, and the American Turkish Society. He also holds a position as a Board of Trustees Member at Bogazici University. In addition, Aydin is a member of the Galata Business Angels and serves on the Advisory Board of Mavi Giyim.
