He graduated from Mimar Sinan University's Faculty of Architecture with honors and pursued Urban Planning. Concurrently with his education, he worked as an Assistant Public Relations Manager at Interstar and Kral TV. He held positions as a production assistant and assistant director at NTV. He began studying Urban Planning at Mimar Sinan University and started an MBA at Kadir Has University; however, he did not complete either program. In 2000, he co-founded and became a partner at the Zap Media company. In 2007, he oversaw the sale of Zap Media, a domestically-funded company and Turkey's first internet agency, and left Zap Media in 2010. He has managed approximately 4,500 internet campaigns to date. He has served as a jury member for IPZ GIA, Altınörümcek, DPİD, Kristal Elma, TÜHİD, Bumerang, Felis, and Meribel awards. He has contributed articles to various newspapers and magazines about the interactive world. For about three years, he wrote football and Fenerbahçe comments for various sports websites and hosted a sports program on Radyospor for a year. Wearing his Sugarwokz hat, he has co-produced many films and documentaries. Currently, he manages his business at DBI - Digital Office Istanbul, his second venture.
